With the e-resident card, you can establish a company online. In this case, the company registration is completed on the same day. Additionally, the card enables interaction with institutions such as the commercial register, tax authority, and banks. The card can also be used to digitally sign contracts.

Board members living abroad can handle all administrative tasks for the company using the card, including signing financial statements, eliminating the need to visit Estonia in person.

Using the card requires a card reader that connects via a USB port and software installed on your computer. In Estonia, services and portals are also available in English.

In certain cases, such as when shareholders cannot use electronic identification or if a foreign entity is to become an owner, a visit to a notary in Estonia is required.
